Life can take many turns. I have been an artist my whole life, but I found ceramics later in life. Later, when languid days of routine lulled away my desire to create – I found clay. Ceramics awakens my creative passion.

I grew up in the Ozarks of Missouri where limestone bluffs, rolling hills, and clear water influenced my idea of landscapes. The contrast between soft and sharp, muddy and clear ebbed and flowed peacefully. In my ceramic works today, I work to find the textures, colors and lines of unspoiled scenery that fascinated me as a young person.

My ceramic pieces are the result of a broad range of clays and techniques – both low and high fired work. I experiment with new glazing and firing techniques hoping to find nature. It brings me great joy and pride to see work displayed in customer’s workplaces and homes. Contact me if you have questions or want a special order in size or color.
